Hardmetal Knives Sdn. Bhd. and its group of companies are one of the earliest companies in Malaysia to venture into the manufacturing of tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) toolings. Trimmer

We manufacture and supply Paper Trimmer Knives for every machine make and model.

Our Paper Trimmer Knives are precision manufactured to extremely close tolerances and mechanically honed to produce razor sharp, burr-free cutting edges.

Guillotine

Our guillotine knives are made to exact requirements as per our customers’ specifications as expressed in their technical drawings. We supply guillotine knives for paper cutting, rubber converting and PS Plate cutting applications. Supplied TCT grades can be micro-grain, submicro-grain or ultrafine –grain. Supported machines are Polar, Perfecta, Wohlenberg, Itoh, Nagai ,etc.

Sheeter

We produce sheeter knives up to 6 meters length and can hold tighter than normal tolerance if required. Made to order, our sheeter knives have been produced for most of the machines under the names of Pasaban, Jagenberg, Milltex, ECH-Will, Bielomatik etc.

Top & Bottom Slitter

Slitters are used to cut a wide coil of paper or thin metal rolls into narrower strips as the wide coil is moved through the slitting machine. Sometimes large but thin metal or paper sheets can also be cut this way. We produce slitters that are suitable for most of the slitting machine models like Tidland, Jagenberg, Pasaban , etc.

The completed slitters are quality inspected using CMM machines and we can hold precise tolerances as required by our esteemed customers.

Book Binding Cutters

We produce book binding cutters for machines like Kolbus, Mueller-Martini, etc.

Brazed and screw on versions are available.

Our cutters are custom made and can hold to tighter tolerances if required.
